So here is the plan for this Friday! We will be gettin together at the Ernstrom's right after school. We will be hanging there playing videogames and having a fun pizza and snack time until 6. At 6 we will head over to Grace to catch the NVision seminar at 630! This should be an AWESOME time and it will be our special substitute for our Bible Study. That will be all wrapped up @ 9 and then all you dudes are welcome to come back over to the Ernstrom's until 10:30pm. This is what we are goin with and I hope you can make some or all of the night! Jr. High Boyzzzz. Yo we are having Bible study at Josh and Ashley Ernstrom's new place at 1729 Vicente Dr. We will start the study at the normal time of 345, but feel free to come on by before. Along with the study we will be having a little halo game night. This will be goin on until 10pm and if you wanna bring a couple of bucks to pitch in for some pizza that would be great! Don't worry about bringin controllers or boxes, if we need yours we will contact you. Make sure you check with your parents that it is ok for you to play halo, and if they have any questions they can contact me at 801-6160. Hopefully I'll seeya there!

Bible Studies this Week and more :)

This Tuesday for the Jr. High girls, we will be having the study at Josh and Ashley Ernstrom's home starting at 4 and going to about 5! Megan and Ashley will be leading the study and it should be a great time of diggin in deeper together:)

This Friday for the Jr. High guys, we will be meeting once again at my (ben's) apartment at 3:45-5:15. Feel free to show up early, just make sure it is after 3:10ish :) Justin and I will be leadin' it up and I hope to see ya all there!

Six Flags Trip... $50 for 1 1/2 days at MM + a meal pass for the park. $50 is what it would take to just pay for gas to drive down there and back, but you get a day and a half at the park, food and a place to bunk up for the night! Sweet stuff! Spots are limited though b/c this trip is open to both Jr. High and High School soooo sign up to reserve your spot today yo! Oh the trip is March 27-29.

Jr. High Girls: Bible study is not happening this week b/c Josh and Ashley are in the process of moving across town!!! So in the future the study will be at a new time:4-5 at a new place: 1729 Vicente (93405). For next week, being right after Thanksgiving, stay tuned for what will be happenin! Something sweet for sure!

High School!

Turkey bowl is this Sunday 2-4 at the High School! Bring friends so you can make up a sweet flag football team! I hope to see ya all there!

Also the Thanksgathering Dinner is goin on that night at 6 at Grace. This has always been an amazing time of sharing and encouragement involving how God has been at work. Awesome time together!

Comin off of a great worship night last week the Jr. High will be jumpin back into Romans 7 and the High School will be studyin God's word together with Todd! Jr. Highers get ready for some crazy crazy SOCKS action this Wednesday!!! It is going to be OH SO INSANE-O!!! High School 5th Quarter after this Friday's football game is at the Evans Home (1684 Knoll Dr.)!

Downtown People Puzzle October 25th!!! Jr Highers along with Freshmen and Sophomores will be meeting at Grace at 10 to go on an epic people puzzle adventure! Juniors and Seniors along with the staff will be the puzzle pieces and will be hidden downtown incognito!!! We'll have a bbq and prizes after the time downtown that will end at 2pm at Grace. Hope to see you all there!!!

Harvest Festival! We need people to help out with this years harvest festival on Friday the 31st! If you wanna help run a booth or make the maze make sure to let me know!

Ya sooo this week is Homecoming for the High School group, exciting right? haha! Anywhoo this Wednesday we are not meeting here at Grace! We are meeting and ending at the High School Football Field!!! There is going to be a free bbq at 7, OH YEA OH YEA, and then there will be a time of sharing and prayer with students from all around the San Luis area. This should be a sweet sweet time! We are planning on meeting at the 50 yard line so I'll see ya there!!!

We are planning on playing dodgeball in the brand new founders hall directly following a freeforall foodfight in there as well!!! HAHAHA, ya right, that is how I would get fired. No but really now I hope you made it on Sunday and took a tour of the "Early Childhood Center" because it pretty much is AMAZING!!! Now is such a great time to invite friends for Wednesday Nights!!!

Ok so quick word out to everyone about all the happenings for this Wednesday. First of all at 7am at the flagpole at Laguna and at the bottom of the red stairs for SLOHS we are gathering to pray and sing to our Lord. Other local student ministries will be joining us as we focus on praying for eachother, our community, our schools and whatever else the Lord would have for us to lift up to Him. Hope to seeya there!

Wednesday Night:

We will be meeting and ending at Terrace Hill in SLO from 7-845. We will be gathering once again with other local student ministries to pray and worship in song together. Be sure to dress warmly and bring a flashlight if you have one. If you need directions to Terrace Hill the map below should help (zoom in)... We will be waiting for you on Bishop St. right in front of the hill! Hope to see you there!

What is goin on!?!

Sooo if you made it to the Move Night yesterday I hope you were as amazed as I am about how quickly things were completed!!! It was stellar! People + Pizza/Popcorn = A Job Well Done! Praise God for how quickly He moved things along last night! Hopefully for those of you who made it, you were also SUPER AMPED on the new building!!!

Ok so this Wed. 7-8:45 at Grace for both Jr. High and High School! Be sure to bring a friend and also remember to be thinking of who God may have put in your life to invite to the Fall Kick Off this Sunday! The Fall Kick Off is SUPER SWEET and such a great opportunity to bring people to hear the gospel in an open and fun environment across the street in the park!

Jr. High girls Bible study is today at the Ernstrom home at 4:30! Heard last week was super awesome with the meal making for the Badgers! Sounds like great things are goin on!

It's Finally Happening... Jr. High Guys Halo Party

There were many requests this year at Hume for a Video Game/ Halo party for the Jr. High Guys. Well... the time has finally come. This Friday night at 7pm at the Ernstrom's home 1363 Sydney St. (off of Johnson near Bishop St.). The word on the street is that some Wiis will also be making an appearance. The time the gathering will end is whenever your parents want to pick you up and the latest you can stay is midnight. Snacks will be provided in abundance. Oh and if you have a system that you want to bring or controllers or a tv you can contact Josh by emailing him at joshley@mac.com. If you do bring something, label it for sure!

Tuesday:

Jr. High girls! Grab your aprons and head over to the Ernstroms at 4:30 to make dinner for the Badger family. Keith and Cara Badger have been some faithful servants of our Lord in the High School group and Ashley and Danielle have decided to serve them through making them a little din din! Sounds like a SWEET time to me!

Wednesday:

High School and Jr. High will both be meeting at Grace from 7-8:45. This is again such an opportunity for you all to come and be encouraged in your faith and also to bring others so that they might hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, which may lead them to salvation. Seeya in The Basement!

Friday: High Schoolers

After the SLO High Home Football game, which starts at 7:30, head on over to the Grays home at 683 Evans Road for our 5th Quarter party! If ya need a ride after the game wait outside the main gate and one of the staff or Todd will hook ya up! There will be a Kajabe-Can-Can tournament along with tons of munchies, a pool, a pool table, some ping-pong and it will go all the way till midnight! Talk about a fun time eh?! Invite your friends for sure!

Just to give ya all some details here that are essential for all you Falling Forward- hehe- with us this Friday. Please be at Grace at 12 on Friday with all of your luggage and some $ for dinner on the way up (So that means eat an early lunch before you get to Grace, or if you are like me bring a second and third lunch with you for the ride up- haha). We are going to Camp Hammer which is the same camp we have been at for the last 4 years now and is located off of Mount Hermon Rd. in the Santa Cruz Mountains. This week we are meeting down at Port San Luis for a night of fun and fellowship with other local youth groups! We are having a bus leave from Grace at 6 so if ya wanna ride make sure to be there BEFORE 6. If you want to drive down to Port San Luis you could meet us there at 6:15 and if you are riding the bus on the way back it will arrive at Grace at 9:30. Hope ya all can make it!!!

Wednesday July 30th: Pool Party and Worship

Jr High: Pool Party at the Woods House!
We will be meeting and ending at the Woods home at 1837 Castillo Ct in SLO. We will get things rollin at the Woods home at 6:30 and we will be having some sweet pool games and some diving competitions! Girls one piece suit just like at hume and guys keep it to boardshorts. We will also have some tasty snacks there and did I mention they have a great grass volleyball court too? Bring a friend or two!

High School: Games and Worship time at Grace!
We will be meeting and ending at Grace this week from 6:30-9:00. Look forward to some sweet games and a great time of worship in song down in the basement. Sweet sweet!

TALENT SHOW!!!
That is right this week we are having the Talent Show! Food will get rolling at 5:30 in the ministry center (gym) and then we will have a night filled with little kids dancing, Adrian and the Airplanes lip singing some song of great legend and glory and Justin Hooper making mothers cry b/c of his lark-like voice. If you have a talent, and I know many of you do, you can still sign up! This Sunday for Jr. High we will be continuing our study on unity. We will be continuing to see how God has designed us to exist in unity in the same way that our God of three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one. Come and be encouraged!!!
For High School Mike Ward will be opening the word for us. Mike is an amazing man of God who has had some incredible trials in his life and has triumphed through them through the power of God. I've known Mike personally for a number of years and consider him one of my mentors and close friends.
Don't forget about our 11AM worship service where Pastor Steve will be opening God's word for us this week.

Jr. High:

We are having a CAR RALLY!!! What does that mean? Well lemme fill ya in! We will be meeting and ending at Grace but we won't really be here to much in between! You and a few others will pile (safely!) into a car driven by one of our staff and will hop all around town to different locations that you will figure out from a clues sheet that you will receive! You earn points for all the clues you figure out and the winners will get a sweet sweet prize! Bring a friend for sure!

High School:

You all are headin over to the Patty's Place! There will be food there and opportunities to ride Larson's cow for the fair will be available for the daring! hahaha! There is also rumor of a boar head that haunts the Patty Place so beware!
